FEMA has announced through its website the release of the new Standard Flood Hazard Determination Form (the “Form”). Other than a new effective date of December 2008 and a new expiration date of December 31, 2011, there are no material changes to the Form or the official instructions. CoreLogic is incorporating the new Form into its system, which should be made available with your flood determinations later this month. According to the FEMA announcement, the new version of the Form is not required for use until June 16, 2009. During the interim, both the “current” Form (with an expiration date of October 31, 2008) and the new Form will be considered acceptable for regulatory purposes. If you have any difficulty opening or viewing the new Form on FEMA’s website, we have provided a copy of the new Form for your convenience. Please feel free to contact CoreLogic’s Compliance Department at 1-800-447-1772 with any questions. |
