June 1 is our targeted date to become part of a bold new, publicly traded entity named CoreLogic^®.  CoreLogic isn’t just a new company; it’s a new kind of company. Launched from The CoreLogic Corporation, CoreLogic combines the leading providers of financial, property and consumer information, analytics and business intelligence into one dynamic company.

As a new entity, we are committed to delivering the capabilities you need to better assess your business challenges—and gain the dynamic insights you need to reduce risk and improve business performance.

As of June 1, First American Flood Services will be conducting business as CoreLogic.  As part of the new CoreLogic we remain committed to a successful relationship with our clients who can expect the same excellent service and experienced people upon whom they have come to rely.

While the spin-off is targeted to occur on June 1, the process of integrating our new brand on existing products and services will continue through 2010.  During that time, we want to assure our clients of the following:

• Contract terms and services as of June 1, 2010 will be honored by CoreLogic (our new brand name) in the same manner as they were with CoreLogic Flood Data Services.  Our legal name, CoreLogic Flood Hazard Certification LLC, is not changing at this time which means that no amendments to contracts should be immediately necessary.
• Ordering and interface applications, such as www.floodcert.com, will remain active and operate the same as before; this includes your log-in and password information.
• On June 6, we will re-launch the www.floodcert.com website and service applications to reflect our new brand. This is when the CoreLogic name will begin to appear on our products and correspondence.
• All mortgage service providers who currently accept determinations made by First American Flood Services will continue to accept determinations made by CoreLogic.  Therefore, our clients can be assured that CoreLogic determinations are still the most widely accepted determinations in the industry.
• Our phone numbers and service addresses will remain the same.  Our staff’s business e-mail addresses will change, however, you can continue to reach out to us using any legacy CoreLogic e-mail address for the foreseeable future.
• Our Accounts Receivables department will ensure that future billing will reflect our new name and logo.  Please make the appropriate changes to your records to reflect our new name as payee. During the initial transition period, CoreLogic will continue to accept payments made payable to FAFDS.

We thank all of our valued clients for their business.  We ask that in a reasonable amount of time our clients replace references to First American Flood Services with CoreLogic in your forms and other materials.  If you have questions regarding the flood products or services you use today, please do not hesitate to contact your current Flood Services Account Representative.
